At Adecoagro we are committed to ensuring that each animal lives in optimal conditions. We are sure that cow comfort is the basis for a good productive performance. For this reason, we have been training teams at our free stall in Animal Welfare.

In this training we focused on understanding cow behavior and the ways in which we can protect and respect their space. We emphasized the monitoring of environmental temperature, the importance of maintaining adequate feeding and compliance with protocols. In addition, in this framework, topics such as prepartum and the weaning process in older cows were discussed.

At Adecoagro, we strive to provide optimal conditions for each cow to adapt favorably to its environment. We want each cow to be healthy, comfortable, safe and well fed. In this sense, we follow rigorous protocols so that our cows have water and food every day of the year. We monitor the environmental climate through a temperature index and seek constant improvement of the resting areas. At the same time, we ensure that all animal treatments are performed by trained personnel and that each instance is recorded in a daily report and uploaded to a software that contains our entire database.

We are convinced that, through good practices, we achieve an excellent productive performance.
