Getting to know our rice business

Production

We have developed our rice business with a strong focus on efficiency and innovation. We operate our own seed breeder, where we develop varieties tailored to our customers’ needs and to the specific production conditions of each region.

Our operations are located in northeastern Argentina and Uruguay. We produce using efficient irrigation technologies (precision leveling/controlled slope and polypipe technologies), and drone monitoring, supported by ongoing training programs. This approach allows us to optimize water use and energy consumption, increase yields, and consistently ensure the quality of our products.

Industry

We process our rice under a continuous improvement model, ensuring efficiency and high-quality standards. We produce a wide range of products, including long-grain rice, parboiled rice, brown rice, and double Carolina rice, as well as rice flour, byproducts, and healthy snacks.

We operate six rice mills and one snack production plant, strategically located in Argentina and Uruguay, with large processing capacity that enables us to supply a variety of markets.

Commercialization

We offer food that is cared for from the very beginning, supported by a fully integrated model that ensures complete traceability and a fast response to market opportunities.

We produce both Indica and Japonica rice, which is transformed into a wide range of products, including white rice, parboiled rice, double carolina, brown rice, carnaroli, yamaní, and specialty varieties tailored to specific markets. In addition, we develop a line of healthy snacks in multiple formats—toasts, mini toasts, veggie snacks, and dips—responding to evolving consumer trends.
